DS@GT ARC Notes
Note
This site is a work-in-progress and is actively being developed. Please check back frequently for updates.
These notes prepare students to make original research contributions at evaluation-focused venues like CLEF.
They cover the research process: reading the applied research landscape (Kaggle, KDD, NeurIPS, TREC, CLEF), finding a viable shared task, forming a team, and writing a research proposal. They also include guides for setting up the tools to do the work, including Georgia Tech's PACE cluster and SLURM.
